Terms of Sale
- The platform is a venue for sellers to sell and buyers to purchase — CONNEXi is not a party to the actual sale contract.
- The contract is between buyer and seller, subject to the seller’s terms, plus these provisions:
- Product price includes all applicable taxes.
- Any additional fees (shipping, handling, etc.) must be clearly stated in the listing.
- Products must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and truthfully described.
- Sellers confirm they own the product and have the right to sell it.
Returns & Refunds
- Returns are handled according to the marketplace’s returns policy, at CONNEXi’s discretion and in line with local laws.
- Refunds follow the platform’s refund policy, and may include refunds of product price, shipping fees, or store credit via various methods.
- For digital products, refunds are only issued if there’s a failure to deliver.
Payments
- Payments must follow the platform’s payment guidelines and policies.
Your Content
- “Your content” includes text, images, reviews, comments, etc., you post on the platform.
- It must be accurate, law-abiding, and respectful. Prohibited content includes offensive, unlawful, infringing, or spam content.
- You must not use the platform to post content that violates someone else’s rights or any court orders.
- The review system must not be used for fake or misleading feedback.
- Don’t try to divert transactions off-platform, solicit other users improperly, or share private information.
- CONNEXi may remove any content at its discretion.
- If you spot illegal or offensive content, report it via the contact details provided.
License to Use Your Content
- You grant CONNEXi a global, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, adapt, publish, distribute, and sublicense your content.
- You waive all moral rights to your content.
- If your content breaches policy, CONNEXi may edit or remove it.
Use of Platform
- You may browse, print (non-excessively), cache, stream, and use the platform for personal or business purposes.
- You must not download, modify, republish, or exploit content unless expressly allowed.
- Forwarding links and marketing materials is allowed.
- CONNEXi can restrict access for maintenance. Do not circumvent any restrictions.
- You must not misuse, hack, overload, or disrupt the platform in any way.
Intellectual Property
- CONNEXi and its licensors own all IP rights on the platform.
- Trademarks and logos remain protected and cannot be used without permission.
- Third-party trademarks belong to their owners, and their inclusion does not imply endorsement.
Data Privacy
- Buyers consent to processing of personal data in line with the Privacy and Cookie notice.
- CONNEXi handles your data as stated in that policy. Sellers handling buyers’ data remain responsible for misuse.
Due Diligence & Audit Rights
- CONNEXi can perform due diligence under anti-money laundering guidelines.
- You must provide documentation or access when requested for compliance or legal purposes.
CONNEXi’s Role
- CONNEXi doesn’t vet user identities, nor is it party to the buyer-seller contract. It only facilitates listing, payment, and delivery.
- CONNEXi doesn’t guarantee accuracy of listings, uninterrupted service, or availability.
- It may alter or discontinue services any time without notice or compensation.
- No commercial outcome is guaranteed.
Liability Limitations
- Liability is excluded only as allowed by law.
- CONNEXi’s liability is capped to the amount you paid for the transaction.
- CONNEXi is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses.
- Employees are protected by limited liability principles.
- For third-party links or sites, CONNEXi accepts no responsibility.
Indemnification
- You indemnify CONNEXi for any loss due to your breach of terms or failure to meet obligations, including legal costs and tax consequences.
Breach of Terms
- If you breach these terms, CONNEXi may suspend, block, or restrict access; delete your account; or pursue legal action.
- You must not try to bypass such action through other accounts.
Entire Agreement
- These terms, along with related policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and CONNEXi.
Hierarchy
- If there’s conflict between these terms and other policies, the terms prevail.
Changes to Terms
- CONNEXi may update terms and policies at any time. New versions apply from posting date.
No Waiver
- A waiver of any breach does not imply waiver of future breaches.
Severability
- If a term is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Partial unenforceability triggers partial removal only.
Assignment
- CONNEXi may assign its rights; you may not without consent.
Third-Party Rights
- No third-party can enforce these terms unless named.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These terms are governed by Ghanaian law, and disputes are subject to Ghanaian courts.
